A NOTE FROM THE ARTIST
This photo was taken in June of 2013 in Monterey Bay, California. Again, my husband and I had gone on vacation for our anniversary and were enjoying a beautiful tour of the 17 Mile drive.
We stopped at many spots along the way and admired the stunning beauty of that area. I took photos at nearly every stop because I felt like I was completely immersed in serenity.
If you're sensing a theme, it's not a coincidence. The majority of my favorite photos were taken while my husband and I were out exploring nature on an anniversary trip (sans children).
These trips are always filled with such joy and play that I'm completely aligned with my inner being. When I'm in alignment I often show up at the right place at exactly the right time to get a beautiful shot. So basically...all my great photos can really be attributed to my husband.

I created this piece as a solution to one of my most obnoxious problems, a messy bathroom. I prefer to keep my bathroom clean, but the amount of jewelry I have makes it difficult. I've had many jewelry boxes over the years, but none that really satisfied my needs. I love that I don't have to look at the clutter of all my jewelry, it's not taking up space on my counter, and the photograph provides a serene feeling as I get ready every morning.
