This photo was taken in April of 2021 in Waldport, Oregon. The gulls are everywhere in Alsea Bay, so I generally don't photograph them because I've been focused on the eagles and herons that are more difficult to capture.⠀

I happened to be out photographing a siege of herons at sunset, and decided to take some photos of the gulls that were fishing in the same location. I love how this one appears to be walking on water!⠀
